Car Air Conditioning FAQS

H & R Motors are well placed to take care all of your Automotive Air Conditioner Re-gas, Servicing, Repair and Inspection needs

Car air conditioning uses refrigerant to extract heat from the air within the interior of the vehicle to the exterior, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air to be recirculated. It is important to conduct a regular inspection of the condition of the rubber seals for any signs of leaks or decline which could be contributing to a loss of refrigerant.

To run most efficiently the refrigerant in your Car Air Conditioner should ideally be recharged completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.

You should bring your car to a qualified workshop such as H & R Motors regularly to make sure the air conditioning system continues performing efficiently as well as having the mechanics evaluate the condition of the entire car.

Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and are usually able to alert you to any items that may need to be replaced in the near future or those that are already damaged beyond repair.

H & R Motors care about the environment and can arrange automotive air conditioning service with a licenced technician.
